This scene was first available on Nintendo in Donkey Kong. This level can only be reached by hitting the ball into a bonus hole. A new screen is displayed where the player controls Mario, who is holding a platform. The object is to rescue Pauline by bouncing the ball off Mario's platform. Various targets must be hit to break the barrier and collect points.
