NCAA Football is an arcade-style football game featuring forty Division I teams, authentic school colors, over sixty plays (including the Wishbone and Suicide Blitz), and the option to play either an Exhibition game or sixteen-team Tournament. Tournaments can be customized with your choice of the best collegiate teams from the '60s through '90s, with up to four players participating at once (two players on each team).<br><br>Other notable features include: variable weather, adjustable quarter lengths, instant replay, and battery backup to save tournaments already in progress. While NCAA Football embraces the same style of gameplay found in Tecmo Bowl, using a horizontal view of the field and one-button passing, it offers additional moves such as high-stepping and laterals after the ball is snapped.
